Because we're as shallow as the people we elect. If we elected our presidents based solely on past experience and professional qualifications, would we be in the crap storm of a mess we are in now?


I, for one, am humble enough to blame myself for the failures of our government. We, the dense populous, elect even denser politicians to do our bidding, only to whine and squeal when things don't go our way.
