Its going on 11 Years old. So what I would be doing is checking
1. Fuel filter
2. Vacuum lines Look for lines that are weathered and cracked
3. Intake manifold
4. Compression
5. Filters/Air
6. Spark plugs I change plugs every year
7. Wires
8. OBDII Codes Auto zone can do this if you don't have a reader.
Check everything-you'll find it eventually
