avast isnt picking up a virus or is it spyware? HELP!?

my page that im on keeps being sent to the back like what happens when you click the start button and i keep getting pop ups titled "powered my zedo" or "from internet speed monitor "i ran numerous virus scans but it isnt showing anything. what should i do to save my computer???.

also where can i get avast spyware for free.
