I'm looking to buy a kona shred. I intend to use it for trails, occasional downhill, offroad, etc. problem is, they only have a medium frame in stock but I'm 5' 8" and was told to get a small. I have about 2" above the frame when straddling it. Is this a huge deal, or will I be fine with a slightly larger bike? The kona manual says its dangerous. My concern is COG and geometry on offroad rugged ground. Please help if u know.
