I have a 1995 Jeep YJ with the 5 Speed AX5 Transmission and the 2.5L AMC 150.
I took her out of town and after driving on the highway at about 70MPH the check engine light came on. I pulled over and she was idling just a tad bit rougher than usual. As soon as I got into town, everything was back to normal. On the way back, the same thing happened.
What could be the problem?
The engine has been overhauled twice already, with the second one being a major overhaul: New pistons, chromolly piston rings, new gaskets, new bearings, new crankshaft, new fuel injectors.
