Hey there--I'd be so grateful if you could help me out. So I'm making a short film that's about a teenaged girl in conflict with her traditional Chinese parents. I'm planning on using a poem that she and then her father (in Chinese) would narrate. Can you think of any poems that speak to the complicated love/rebellious relationship between children and their parents? It could be from the daughter's perspective or her father's. Preferably, the prose would be rhythmic and somewhat concise, and even better if it's an Asian writer.
