I had some problems with my Sims 2 a while ago, because I had to system restore my computer and afterwards my computer didn't have the correct chipset/software for the Sims 2 to run on. I took some advice and tried downloading the correct chipset, DirectX 9, but it still won't allow me to play on the game because apparently the chipset my computer currently has is good enough and doesn't need updating. I followed the instructions on the advice I was given carefully but the message is always the same. What do you think I've done wrong, and, do you think you could help me?
