why cant i get fuel pressure, porsche 356b?

I am working on a 1962 Porsche 356 and I had no fuel pressure so I got a kit and put it in the pump and still no pressure. I thought someone who had worked on one of these before might have some idea what the hell is going on. It is a pretty basic system so I am pretty frustrated that I can't get it to work.

The lobe that drives it may be worn out (hope not) or the line going to it could be plugged. So try blowing the line clean. The tank may need to be removed and cleaned out- or rust will just plug the fuel line and filter. Yes- the problem could be the fuel filter.
