Is Judaism turning into Christianity in the sense they're segregating into groups?

I'm starting to notice alot of "doom" talk amongst some jews I speak to, as well as a division of Samaritans, Orthodox, Reform, Conservatism. Then you have the mystical aspect of the Kabbalists. If jews believe in one G-d, why all the different variations? It's starting to turn more and more into the christian divisions of (Jehovah's Witnesses, Evangelists, Church of Latter Day Saints, Mormon) All these divisions are getting confusing!
