best answer...? I had this phone for two years... We got it disconnected and I was wondering if I can take it to Verizon and get prepaid minutes on it? I am in need of a phone and my fiance is laid off and this sucks..

So can I take this phone that had service from Verizon (but it was not prepaid) and get minutes put on it from Verizon???

Also, if I could do that, could I take it to Alltel or somewhere else and get minutes put on it anywhere instead of just Verizon...?

you cannot take it to anywhere but Verizon but i think u can use it with verizon as prepaid
