How much was a Porsche Boxster 1998 worth in 1998, and what is it worth

now(in todays money)? My dad owns a Porsche Boxster 1998, and I want to figure out what the value is now, and what is was when it was brand new(in todays money). So here it what it has, it has a 6 cylinder engine, it is very clean and has 0 scratches, it has something like 15,000 km on it(which is less than 10,000 miles), It is a standard car, and everything works. If anyone can give me a value, thanks!
This is all I know, I'm not that great with cars so if you need more information, I won't be able to tell you. The only other information I can give is that its black

At most, figure around $20K USD if sold to a particularly silly private party, considerably less if you want to go get f*cked by a dealership.

When I got my 2000 Porsche Boxster (in 2000) I paid about $64,900 plus the add ons and tax it was over $70,000. I regret paying so much for it because I lost a ton of money. Now I live a more modest life with my 2010 BMW X5. (which I got used for only $35,000 !!!)
