How do I connect with google docs on my android when my domain isn't gmail?

To get into my google docs account for school i go to my schools website, log in, then hit google docs. It then takes me to google docs main page, but in the top right instead of saying '[email protected]' it says [email protected]' with the 'x's being my school name.

So when I try to use the Google Docs android app, it wont let me login with either email shown above. And my school server doesn't let me share with accounts outside of the server.
