How come when I get a text message on my iPhone, it repeats the sound at least 3...

...times at once when I get it? Every time I receive a text message, I have it set to use the sound "tweet". The sound will play a couple times in a row at one time and then stop. It does this with every other sound and it wont just play one time and stop.

It is probably your settings. You can adjust them to ring any number of times. Your's is probably set to three. All you have to do is go to settings > messages > play alert tone > then select how many times you would like it to ring.
