Mustang srs overheats. The radiator will be empty, bu the overflow reservoir will be full. This is the process: Car overheats (quickly). Turn off the engine before needle moves to red. Let it cool off, fill with water. Start engine, let water run through engine, fill radiator with more water and then drive. After about 1/4 mile, it over heats again. Radiator is empty, reservoir is full.

The obvious answer is the radiator leaks, so I used a stop leak product with the same results. There is no visible blockage from reservoir to radiator. Would a thermostat cause this? If not, what else can it be?
