Do you think the original Jesus was actually Buddha? I am not saying Jesus is Buddha but I am saying that Buddhist traders brought their religion to Rome, Palestine (Where Jesus was said to be born), and surrounding countries; and consequently an exchange of beliefs ensued. This gave rise to the original Jesus; Jesus before he was combined with many Pagan religions as Christianity spread throughout Europe.
Similarities between Jesus and Buddha.
Both born of a virgin
Both had a "Judas"
Both mothers had a prophetic dream.
Both taught tolerance, peace, and love.
Both had disciples.
And many more.
Similarities between Christianity and Buddhism.
Both pray with the hands together; this is absent from Judaism.
Holy water.
Purgatory
Monks
Shaven heads
Rosaries
Bells
Confessions
The Buddhist wheel is also found in the Vatican
Clerical celibacy
And many more.
