sir, i have to PC's which is connected to a switch and linkable in a router and modem.The main problem is whenver i ping the server with 192.168.1.1 it reply..but when i started to view the \rmserver..it olweiz appear can't access the network..and its vice versa in other pc..i olready change the IP address and disable the firewall and still the same problem..so kindly please help me to resolve the proble,i know there are a lot of network wizards here..thank you so much..

..I think it's connection problem....Reset the Modem and Router then un plug and plug in ...Check the ping at You can check the Ping of the Internet Connection easily...To check Local LAN Connection Ping by using the Following method
GO to start->run->cmd->Ping ip-address
or you need to check Ping for website from your computer means you can reach here Whoisxy.com/ping.aspx and do the Ping test for yahoo,Google etc....
