I just picked up a new 42' ProScan HDTV and I can't figure out how to adjust the settings from 420i up to 1080p...Unfortunately, this was an 'open box' purchase and the retailer didn't have the directions..nor can I find a copy online. Aren't HDTV's suppose to allow you to adjust settings from 1080 to 720 to 420 based on what source the picture is coming from? Example: Cable, DVD, VCR?
PS: I do have an HDMI input and do get HDTV programming via my Comcast DVR Box..Not sure if simply getting an HDMI cable will auto set the TV to 1080i...
