6 days on and still have a very sore throat (more so on swallowing).... too early to

visit GP or not? Have tried garling with warm salt water and aspirin, but still sore. Neck glands slightly swollen. No other symptoms (i.e. cold, fever, sneezing, runny nose, cough, blocked nose etc), apart from slight catarrh.
