...having a hard time starting ? Having a hard time starting 3 months ago, i bought it to the garage, the mechanic had the rotor cap in the distributor replaced. It started again smoothly for about a month. Then after that it had troubled starting again, we brought it again to the same mechanic...

I have a problem with the loom on top of the engine which has overheated. I would like to know if anybody knows if there is damage to the electrics on the car.

less then the 2.5tdi quattro? Looking at the 2.8 avant quattro petrol as its cheaper than the 2.5tdi avant quattro , the 2.5tdi does around mid -high 30´s, whats the 2.8 petrol quattro economy like and is it nicer to drive also.

...consumption before I buy one , ? The Volvo V70XC 2.4T Petrol, whats the the real use mpg like , I don´t want to make a mistake as I´m thinking the diesel fwd V70 maybe far more wiser buy with maybe 40plus mpg . Its 2500 more expensive second hand though, take 2 years to recover that...

0.90$ to 1.20$ per gallons. If the car travels an average of 22 to 24miles per gallon, then how much have to be spent for petrol for that trip.

does anyone know where abouts the fuel cut off switch( the switch that cuts off power to the fuel pump incase of accident) is located on a volvo s40 2002. Dont know if there is one but i assume there is do yous know?

and i have just put a new pump on it! Will this cause a problem?
