see the foam padding when I look? I'm looking at a used Hyundai Santa Fe, when I stand outside the car and look in the windshiled I can see the edges of the dashboard are up around the defrost vents, I can see the foam padding beneath them.

I switched out the A/C evaporater and ever since i did that, my A/C will switch between blowing from the top vents that blow at your face and the defrost vents. Its quiet while switching but when it switches back, it pops somewhat loudly. Ive...
I just fixed my a/c, started truck up and it was blowing through all the vents no problem. All the controls worked. I went back to truck to get something, and when i turned over the truck I noticed now all the air is going through he the defrost vent, in all the controls, but speed worked. what...
I have a 2008 Chrysler 300 and I cannot for the life of me get the windows to not fog over! Defrost seems to help when its really cold but as soon as the inside heats up the back two windows get crazy fogged. I have tried everything. I have never owned a car that fogged over so bad. Anyone with...

My car is a 1998 Galant Mitsubishi. Thanks guys for your help!
ground air doesn't work.? I just replaced the resistor behind the glove box because the fan wouldn't shut off before and that seemed to work. Now I can control the the speed and shut it off but I still can't use defrost. When I turn the setting to anything, it still blows forward.
Hot air comes thru defrost vents and floor vents. Can't seem to stop it. What needs to be replaced? Someone suggested a vacuum line leak. Any hints on where to begin? For what its worth the fan speed selector switch and blower motor still work correctly.
I can switch the controller on the dash and the light on the switch changes position but the air only comes out of the defrost. If the control head is electronic push-button how can I troubleshoot this problem and what all could be the problem?
I really don't know how to explain this. I took the switch off the dash that has a bunch of little vacuum hoses connected to it. I followed 2 lines to a thing that switches the cooling from floor to defrost, if I move it by hand, it switches and blows out the defrost vents, but when I just...
In my stealth my defrost vents have cracked. I have read that the entire dash must be removed to replace them. I was wondering how much it would cost if I took it somewhere to get it fixed.
Only had the oven a few days and the instruction book is useless. I have a leg of lamb to cook and was wondering if it has to be defrosted in the halogen oven first, or can it be cooked straight away?
Thanks
through the dash vents? I have a 1984 T1000 i recently bought as a project. The controls on the console dont work too well but it definitely does low, med, and high. BUT problem is the top mounted defrost vents blow hot, and the dash mounted vents blow cold. Why could this be? thanks!
why would anyone want to freeze a cooked chicken breast, it's going to taste absolutely horrible when you defrost it. it will definitely be dryer than the desert, hope you have a instant gravy to go with your time saving idea.
The air blows cold, but will only come out of the defrost vents no matter what option I turn the knob to. What kind of problem am I looking for and where would I begin to look. Any help is good help at this point.
