dining restaurant? As a fast food cook, I make minimum wage. However, cooks at casual dining restaurants make $9 per hour to start. How much harder is it?

Nothing. They're both cooked by humans that could do anything to your food without you knowing.

plates would be your main difference. having stuff up and ready to go in a certain time period is another, food is not prepared ahead of time, it's served to order, so you are starting new orders all the time, back to back. more balancing stuff and multi-tasking.
