All I can remember is a boy and his younger brother... I think they were abused by their father. I remember the older brother pulling his lil bro in a red wagon. I remember them getting on a spaceship. Eventually they meet some colorful FRIENDLY aliens. I think it was made in the 80s or early 90s. I never saw the ending so not sure what happens after they meet the aliens.
(This isn't the one where the boy disappears to the future and surprises his parents when he shows up years later and hasn't aged a day - not that spaceship movie!)
