Two questions:
1.) Do you find that a Christian band can sometimes be better, because they have inspiration and (to them) a good reason to sing/make music? Like how I think Rise Against (Atheist) is a better band than others because you can hear their passions (vegan, treating others the same, green planet, etc) in every song. So does this also work with Christian bands?
2.) Please list me some good post-hardcore, metalcore, hardcore punk, and any really talented bands with deep, meaningful lyrics. They don't have to be Christian. Some of my favorites are Rise Against, August Burns Red, Dream Theater, Underoath, Black Flag.
Please don't leave negative comments/ bashing me. I listen to many other genres but the ones listed above are what I'm looking for now. Feel free to mention any local, unsigned, popular, any band that has both hard music and inspiring music.
Thank you!
