...there more issues? To put it simply, is the issue with most people's opposition to gay marriage purely based on the religious view, or have more issues been raised?

I have only heard of one other, and that would be "should a gay married couple recieve the same health insurance equal to that of a straight marriage." Meaning, should married gays have more stipulations due to higher health risks.

Are there any more?
 
yes its purely religious bigotry. if a couple are monotonous there is no extra health risk.
 
I have yet to hear any rational reason to deny same-sex couples the right to marry besides "gay is icky."

And I would love to see your sources as to these mythical "higher health risks" that everyone seems to think gay men and lesbians have, because as far as I've seen, they don't.
