I'm just a newbie, but I want to learn wordpress, how is the best way to go?

Im a newbie, I want to learn creating website using wordpress. I already have a domain name and hosting account at www.godaddy.com. I want to start learning wordpress, how is the best way to go?

1. Learn directly from live website, installing wordpress there in godaddy, then manipulate things there?

OR..

2. Install a local copy of wordpress on WAMP in my laptop, then learn from it. After I've done, upload the files into my godaddy. hosting account?

OR..

3. I've heard about this Instant Wordpress, they say that it can be installed on local pc automatically, even on USB sticks, portable, what can u say about this?
