If I download torrents and open them in uTorrent/Bittorrent with Hotspot Shield connected, then disconnect HS and restart my torrent client so the download begins, will my IP still be available for companies to see? I get 0 downspeed on Bittorrent when Hotspot Shield is connected, so this is the only way.
I'm just wondering if having Hotspot Shield installed is pointless, since torrenting is the only thing illegal that I do, and if my IP address is still visible, well... Obviously I have no use for it.
