Christmas is coming around, and I'm really tired of using terrible $30 ear buds to listen to music on the go. I'm really into music and gaming and right now for at home use I have A40s with a nice amp and the sound is amazing.

I'm not audiophile, which is why I'm here looking for help. I want a nice pair of headphones, a portable amp and a LOD cable I can use with the 3.5 jack in my phone for music listening on the go.

I'm willing to spend: $200 ish on the headphones but If I can go cheaper I'd like that. $100 ish on the portable amp.

Here is what I was looking at, but I'm not 100% sure how good they are. Also, they say that they are "open" headphones which I think means everyone around me will be able to hear my music, which is not what I want. I'm looking for closed cans that don't leak.

Hi, what I recommend you to do is use the site head-fi.org as it is dedicated to headphones, and there are many audiophiles there willing to help you out, just cut and paste what you asked into a forum on their site.
