Just picked up an m-audio audiophile, thought i had a firewire port on my laptop when buying it.. I don't... What's my best option? Buy a USB adapter for it? Buy a new card for my acer 5542 and is installation possible? Or simply return it n go for a usb alternative? Thanks for any help

I am a major Audiophile (some who really loves music) and i recently got beats studios. the have quickly disappointed me because they require batteries and they often need changed. i am just looking for good headphones, over ear, that aren't beats or bose.
