I am currently living in Mexico for the year as an exchange student. I've heard that there are great public universities here in Mexico where you pay almost nothing! The UNAM was one that I heard of and I'm just wondering how hard it would be for an American to enter into the University? By the time I take the exam I will have lived in Mexico for a year so I will know Spanish pretty well. Also, is the UNAM located in a dangerous part of Mexico city? and are there other universities in Mexico like the UNAM?
