Hi,
I am planning on getting a car audio system and i was wondering if i would need a power capacitor to prevent the peak in power draw from the audio system.
these are the details:
my car: Seat Arosa 1.0 (2000reg)
My set up to be:
8" JBL GTO-804 - Peak 800w, RMS 200w, independence 4 Ohms, sensativity 91Db

FLI 720w 4/3/2 Channel Amp4 ohm stereo :
4 x 70 watts RMS
2 ohm stereo : 4 x 90 watts RMS
4 ohm mono : 2 x 180 watts RMS
3 channel mode: 2 x 70W RMS + 180W for subwoofer)

FLI Comp 5 5.25" component speakers 2010, Peak 225w, RMS 75w, minimum RMS 35w, sens. 88db

Pioneer car stereo MVH - 150UI, 4x50w MOSFET

and 8 Gauge wiring 60amp

Would this set up need a power capacitor, my ca battery is a standard battery you get in a car nothing special and a standard alternator.

If i do need a Power cap. would this be a good one?
Boss Audio System CAPS2S 2.0 Farad digital capacitor?

no. look it up 2, alot of ppl in car audio say a cap can actually b worse 4 ur car. think about it 2, it makes sense. ur jus takin even more power away frm ur car jus 2 keep a cap running. its a waste of $$, especially if its a boss, everything they make suks.
