#'s and risks with its use? I was recently diagnosed with Bell's Palsy on my right side of my face. For about 5 days, no more than 6 or 7 I was told to take Prednisone. I haven't had any adverse reactions but constantly warned of withdrawal effects. I've never had any sort of withdrawal effect from medicines, but I rarely do have side-effects while on the actual medicine.
My question is when it is deemed long term does that include more than what I've been given (mine is for about a weeks use along with Valtrex), such as a week, month, years? Generally speaking I suppose. I do know we all react differently but can't find any real numbers on how long most people who experience withdrawal have taken it.
Any guidance would be much appreciated. It sounds like scary stuff, and I've never had to take anything like it.
