Hi, I have a 1999 Chrysler 300m. It has a knocking noise coming from inside the engine bay. It has the 3.5l HO V6, like any other 300m i guess, but its not the motor, im positive. Whenever I engage the transmission into a drive gear, the knocking stops. Does anyone know what this is, the car runs fine. its got 159k miles on it. Will it be expensive?
