As a Telus pay and talk customer, am I charged for duplicate incoming text messages?

For some reason, I keep getting tons and tons of duplicates of the same text message. Am I getting charged for each one?

if its from one of those companies on tv were u text love or watever to a five digit number then yes u are getting charged for each one and text stop to that number. if its not from one of those companies then u probably are but im not sure just call ur phone company and ask them

If messages show as 'duplicate' in your inbox then you are not charged for more than one text. Call TELUS and have them check the settings on your account because a lot of clients have been getting multiple copies of the same message.

The post above speaks of Premium Messages and those are charged by the sender and could be as high as $5 each.
