I grew up in a Christian house where it was "bad" to be gay and always thinking it is a choice, so I was wondering if anybody can give me your opinion if people are born this way and not just choose the lifestyle (personal examples recommended)

Why are there some people getting mad, its a question, I'm just looking for an answer, my best friend is a fabulous gay man named Michael, so I would NEVER bash on the gay community. Sorry if you feel that way, but its just a question, dont beat me up for it. Im just a curious girl that was raised in a christian home. I NEVER once said that I hated gays or that it was wrong. please give me a break here...
