Since they are made in Germany, are they considered mediocre over there? In America they are some of the most expensive cars out there. (Of course behind Bentley, Lambo, Rolls Royce etc) So in Germany are they treated like Chevys are treated in America because they are not imported? Thanks

not everyone in Germany drive Audi, BMW and Mercedes. alt of people buy VW, small cars from Renault and Citron (french) and you will see some american cars and cars from Opel. most taxi companies use Mercedes models because they are good, quite and very very comfortable, but with diesel engine since petrol in Europe is more expensive than the one in Canada and US. some drive these cars but not that many because not everyone can afford them, and if you do see them its very rare to see a petrol version

No they are still expensive in Germany how ever they are some what cheaper there because there are no import taxes and shipping cost to pay.
