My current situation leaves me needing a bike to commute to college and work with. I've been hard pressed to find anything better in my price range than a classic Yamaha XS I've stumbled across locally.
It has 740cc, 47 lb-ft torque at @6500, and the MPG is brilliant compared to some bikes I've found with similar -albeit slightly lower- displacement. I've absolutely no interest in doing anything wild with it and intend in invest alot of time practicing in calm areas (e.g. rural roads, empty parking lots). It seem foolish to pass it up considering from the price and the condition of the bike.
Do you think buying it is still unwise?
