Need to know what wires from regulator hook up to which terminals on generator on a 79 sportster. 2 wires one a strong and one single.

I am looking to buy my very first motorcycle and get my license... I never rode before and I'm 19 years old 5 ft 11 155 pounds... What are the pros and cons of an 883 iron sportster vs a 250 ninja? What do you guys recommend.. And how comfortable are these bikes ? I will be planning about a 3 hr...

I have a honda shadow vlx and have always loved the look of the sportster peanut tank. Would it fit the vlx with little modification necessary?

turn signals are backwards only on the display panel. Also the blue high beam light is stuck on but my high beam is off. unloading at dock.? maximun towing capacity of lexus is 2000 pounds. seadoo sportster weighes about 1500 plus trailer which im unsure how much a trailer weighes. any help would be great!

Great bike if you don't mind being owned by 250 Ninjas. Harley is the king of the cruisers, but a pretty lousy bike for the dollar if you care about performance.

Ok. my sportster will not crank. It will turn over and if I put my hand over the carb it will fire up for a 1-5 seconds after that It's just the sound of the starter. What could cause this?

the bike has meen modified and shifts on the left now with forward controls. but it seems to not want to get into gear shift it. mostly when i am at a stand still. could it be that i am low on oil in the transmission? also what is the best oil to run in the bike both in the tranny and engine...

Please dont say the harley will keep getting leaks and parts will fall off because its just not true. But which one is better performance wise based on each companies reputation today and not the past?

My Dyna isn't exactly the same as your Sportster, but I'll bet it's close enough in that area. When I put in my new clutch cable (yes, Barnett), I also used the new o-ring that came with it. How's the one you put in?

You have a bad connection somewhere. Check the connection at the starter and make sure it is tight. You could also have a bad starter.

I have a 2003 Sportster 883XLC and I had to change the battery. After I changed it I've been having all kinds of electrical problems my speedometer just blinks on/off when you turn on the key I've checked all the grounds and all are tight. I don't know what else to do and I don't wanna take it...

Ok I have a 2005 1200 xlc sporty. My brake light wont shut off. I have unhooked the wires for the rear brake switch so I know it isnt that so I know the linkage is not an issue nor the rear switch. The front brake switch I need help with though. I dont hear the click noise that usually is heard...

There is the 883 low 883 custom Iron 883 Nightster 1200 Low 1200 Custom XR 1200 all of those are Sportster models but I dont see what the difference is between them oh yeah which one is the best by performance?
