...error "1" in iTunes during restore.? So while trying to use the custom firmware created by PwnageTool. iTunes kept giving me error "1" and it won't let me restore it I tried putting it into DFU mode, but that didn't work. HELP!!!

I have a Apple TV 2nd generation. When I try to enter DFU mode to jailbreak it it gives me a fast beep beep beep sound instead. I'm entering it in right. I've been in DFU mode before. I just don't know why it is doing this now. Help please.
