Is there a big difference between 60Hz and 120Hz when it comes to watching blue ray movies? I'm looking at two TVs:
1. 46" Insignia 1080i LED 120Hz for $549
2. 50" Toshiba 1080i LED 60Hz for $399
I'm not a big movie watcher (maybe 1 every week or two). Is it worth the smaller screen size and...

We are thinking about getting a Samsung 120Hz TV and a LG 60Hz DVD Player, but would they work together since they are different Hz? Or would the TV downgrade to 60 Hz?
The TV is a Smart TV so do you need a special DVD player to access that feature...
I have a Mitsubishi WD60C9 3D ready tv, and I hooked my pc up to it. In my pc I have a GeForce GTX 460. I'm using the mini-HDMI port on the video card with a mini-to-normal HDMI converter to hook it up via HDMI. When I do so, my pc just sees it as a generic PnP monitor and wont let me set the...
I've seen conflicting reports on this online, with some people saying that this is only their name for some kind of technology to simulate 120hz, and some people saying it's the real deal. What is it? I noticed that I can set my graphics card to output at 24hz if I'm displaying on the TV, does...
Will be using the new HDTV for watching HD cable and up-converted standard definition DVD's.
Don't have the time or interest for gaming.
Is it worth the extra money for a 120Hz set?
Are any of you running a 60Hz set and playing standard DVD's without a problem? Any motion blur?
Got a 120hz samsung a while back, and when I look at the screen information when I have my Xbox 360 selected it says it is only running at 60hz. I have a hdmi cable connecting them and was wondering if the 360 supports 120hz or am I stuck with 60hz?
Also thinking about getting a samsung blue-ray...
The best setting I can do is 1080p@60Hz... I have a new LED tv that's 120Hz and want to take full advantage of it...
Also the Catalys Controler 10.5 version says it finally supports 120Hz and i have the new 10.7.. It should support it no?

My new Samsung led is 120hz but when i watch a dvd it says 60hz so i see blur next to fast scenes.
Are dvd's 60hz and blu rays are 120hz? I'm just looking to optimize my technology and the blur from dvd's is annoying...help?
We're looking to buy a new lcd television, at least 52 inches. We're trying to decide if we really need the 240hz instead of 120hz. From what we've found online, people are saying that you really only need the 240hz if you're watching blue ray. Well we will be watching blue ray on our PS3-...
Im looking to purchase a new TV primarily for ps3 gaming and watching blueray. I don't have cable television so im not so concerned with that. Im looking for some suggestions for a 1080p TV a little on the cheaper side. Around $500. Samsung is the best brand I've seen used up close. Insignia...
