I am thinking of buying my friends LG DARE cell phone. Its service was through verizon which I have. It has no contract on it now. I have a current contract but I dont qualify for an upgrade right now. If I take this new lg phone into the store can they switch everything over to this phone off my old one? Or do I need to qualify for a new contract first to switch phones.. is it ok that the phone I want to buy does not have a contract on it?
