I am planning on switching to HD-DVD or Blu-Ray DVD players and I am having trouble deciding which to get. What is the difference between these two DVD players? Which one is the better one?

go with blu ray

hd-dvd is soon to if not already be discontinued, blu-ray won the war.

Blu-ray I would imagine is only useful if you got hi def tv, and well the blu-rays are movie expensive then regular dvds, blu rays run about 25-30.

As for a player, I think ive seen blu-rays for around 180 or so, may consider even just getting a ps3 as it is a blu-ray player as well.
