...Any tips on flu cures for the future? My son had a cold. Of course, I made him stay in bed, get plenty of rest, fluids and homemade chicken soup. Now I am getting it. My Mom's in heaven and I am too busy to lay in bed for two days. I am aware that Mom's have to learn to take care of themselves. It is just a stuffy nose & sneezing at this point. I'm asking because a co-worker told me he takes zinc. (1/2 pill every hour and a half.) I never heard of that and thought the Yahoo community might have some good ideas.
