iPhone unlocking in Canada? Will an unlocked iPhone work with a bell sim card?

If I get an unlocked iPhone and put my bell sim card in it will it work?
Basically, will my iPhone work if it is unlocked and if I am on bell?
Bell is not a GSM network however, so I'm wondering, as long as it is unlocked...I can just put in my sim card and it will work? Even though bell doesn't use GSM?
 
You can definitely unlock a GSM network locked iPhone. But you cannot use a Bell SIM card with it. A GSM cell phone can be unlocked to use any other GSM SIM card only.
