I have some corned beef I bought from the store. The first two ingredients are "beef and cooked corned beef". Aren't all canned meats required by law to be cooked? Are there any meats that are canned but not cooked?
Yes, ALL canned items are fully cooked. All of this stuff is pressure steamed at the packer.
Just because it says it contains both beef and "cooked" corned beef does NOT mean it isn't all cooked in the end product. It just means they blended both uncooked beef and cooked corned beef before canning and pressuring the final product.
