Ya, but, you know, what with her in office for a million years there's got to be someone in your country who liked her.
Maybe it's a matter of perspective. People in the US liked Bush II enough to re-elect him, but few if any non-American MAPers have anything good to say about Bush. People in the US tended to like Thatcher, but you Brits on MAP (so far) didn't. Weird how that works out.
We had to live with her, don't get me wrong I made a lot of money when she was in power. But anyone in manufacturing or coal or steel or any other well paid 'working class' job works as a security guard or in a call centre.. She made unions toothless, started the insane housing crisis, ignored anyone outside of the City of London. She was great for Britain
