I have a Sony VAIO laptop which i'm using instead of a desktop. It has wireless n and the linksys router downstairs has wireless n which is connected to Comcast Cable.
Most of the time, my internet is really slow. It used to be much faster but then just slowed down the last 2 months. I can't even watch Youtube without having to wait 5 minutes for the video to load! My friend in the other room which is about the same distance, maybe even farther from the router.
He has Windows XP, I have Windows Vista. He has wireless g, I have wireless n, and his internet is much faster than mine! He can play Youtube just fine! (just an example, don't think this is a problem.)
How can I boost my internet speed? Any suggestions? Thanks.
