...the same phone? So I'm looking for a charger for my old Samsung Glyde because it won't turn on otherwise and I want to see my Contacts from my old phone.

My Samsung Glyde is Verizon Wireless and I'm a Verizon girl. But my question is, will a charger from other carriers like T-Mobile work for my phone too, if its meant for a Samsung Glyde?

I wasn't able to find my charger at my local Verizon store, so is it okay for me to expand my search like this?

Any charger will work as long as the plug fits.

they will all work.
You can walk into walmart or Radioshack and find a generic charger for it.
