will a xbox360 dvd drive work on a new xbox360 slim 4 gig?

Okay Si I Have A New Xbox360 slim but the dvd drive went bad so i was wondering will a old dvd drive work like from the regular xbox360s the white ones will it fit on a new one a xbox360 slim 4 gig So i can take off the dvd drive of the regular xbox360 and put it in the xbox360 slim
i think it will cuz it has the same cables and size i think but would like to know yes or no? please help me

No, xbox used different drives, and you must get the same drive as your slim to use the same key in your replacement drive.
