Why don't US politicans run things past judges before they introduce legislation

Judges don't rule on hypothetical questions. Until a law is passed it is only hypothetical. Our law makers are supposed to be knowledgeable of the Constitution. Too bad they are not and most have never read it let alone studied it.
 
1. They don't care whether it's constitutional.
2. They're used to getting away with plainly unconstitutional laws.
