Why doesn't someone act as the Anti-Christ?

You know, try to full-fill all the "prophecies" that the Bible claims the Anti-Christ will do. Then like after 6 or 7 years of "ruling" he/she just comes out and says he/she was acting the whole time and and say that the religious fools are easily manipulated into fearing an hating someone.
